Africa Transformation Embassy (ATE)in partnership with Tanzania Global Prayer Movement (TGPM), I Go Africa for Jesus Prayer Movement (IGO AFJ), Mighty Outreach International, Chicago International Community Church (CICC), and many other ministries are excited to present GLOBAL THANKSGIVING PRAYER AND PRAISE TO GOD FOR TANZANIA AND HER PEOPLE.
We invite Tanzanians and Friends of Tanzania worldwide to unite with us to thank God for the divine peace he bestowed on Tanzania and her people during the General Election in October 2015; during the transfer of power in 2015 and throughout the first term of the government of His Excellency, President Dr. John Pombe Magufuli.
We also thank God for the uniqueness of our nation that is known all over the world. Tanzania is a land of Mount Kilimanjaro and surrounded by three greatest lakes in Africa – Victoria, Tanganyika and Nyasa. Lake Victoria is the second largest freshwater lake in the world, and is the source of the river Nile (wonder of the world flowing from South to North). There are many natural resources that are unique to this blessed country. Politically, the Founding Father, President Nyerere was wise enough to realize no nation can be blessed without putting God first. President Nyerere depended on prayer as part of his strategies to defeat colonialism and any force that divided the people of Tanzania and of Africa. Political leaders united and agreed for the National Anthem of Tanzania to be a prayer that will be sung by her people as a prayer of unity, blessings and wisdom.
No doubt, these political leaders showed us how to esteem others more than ourselves (Phil.2:1-4). In addition, President Nyerere focus of “Kuondoa umasikini, ujinga na Maradhi” is also a biblical principle – It is part of the physical aspect of Jesus’ mission (Luke 4:18). As Christians, we have all the reasons to thank and praise our Lord, God of Tanzania for such leadership with voices loud and high (2 Chronicles 20:19). Above all, since President John Magufuli took office, his agenda is to fight corruption and injustice of every form and he always put his confidence in God to help him and his government. His slogan, “Hapa Kazi Tu” and how he is working so hard to improve the lives of Tanzanians should excite every one of us! This is why we are inviting all of you across the Globe to be part of this event. Together we have to take time to give God all the glory for allowing Dr. John Magufuli to be elected President at such a time like this!!
